With some regret, the Together magazine team have taken the decision not to produce any more editions.
Inevitably, this has been prompted partly by the proverbial "circumstances beyond our control" - i.e., the covid lockdown, which coincided with the preparation of the spring 2020 issue, and meant that neither printing nor distribution were possible.
Another practical consideration was the £700 per quarter cost of printing Together to a high quality; attracting more advertising revenue would have compromised editorial space and would have made only a small addition to any income from the £1.50 cover charge.
Also, some chapels were requesting fewer copies each quarter, reflecting our feeling that perhaps Together had run its course after 12 years and was at risk of becoming repetitive.
It has been a privilege and a pleasure to be involved with this mission tool - a shame we just missed making it to the 50th edition! The whole team thank sincerely all our readers, contributors, advertisers, and of course, our perfectionist professional, Darren Larwood, of DS Printing in Holsworthy.
